A passionate and self-taught home cook, I created a blog called foodie-girl in 2011. Foodie-girl was designed to be a creative outlet, a place where I chronicled my adventures in the kitchen, logged my favorite wine and cocktail experiences, and recorded tales of my culinary-inspired travel throughout the world. After 10 years as a sales and event professional in the hotel industry, I left to pursue my true passions; food, wine, and travel. These obsessions have happily led me to a career as a writer and recipe developer. Here you will find samples of my published work as well as a catalog of recipes I’ve crafted, the emphasis on pasta a direct reflection of my most favorite of meals. Travel logs and cocktail creations are in abundance, along with a bit of wine education. I look forward to eating, drinking and working with you. Cheers!
The Farmer & the Foodie
The Farmer and The Foodie is a collaboration between myself and my dear friend Maggie Keith, the Gardener and Co-Founder of Foxhollow Farm. Together we have created a cooking and lifestyle show that invites the viewer to share in the joys of cooking and being out on the farm. The Farmer and The Foodie follows Maggie and me as we discover the bounty of our local farms and prepare fresh dishes with ingredients we uncover. Viewers will walk away with a greater understanding of what it means to grow and source fresh food in the Bluegrass and with the knowledge of how to cook easy to replicate, tasty meals for any occasion.
