The Farmer & the Foodie
The Farmer and The Foodie is a collaboration between myself and my dear friend Maggie Keith, fourth generation steward of Foxhollow Farm. Together we have created a cooking and lifestyle show that aims to cultivate healthy communities through education and the celebration of the diverse food traditions of Kentucky, with a mission of enriching people’s lives by teaching them to cook simple meals to share with family and friends. The Farmer and The Foodie follows Maggie and me as we embrace the bounty of Kentucky’s rich culture, taking us to various corners of the Bluegrass where we draw inspiration from the ingredients and individuals we encounter. We bring what we’ve learned into the kitchen where we create delicious, approachable recipes which we enjoy with the characters we’ve met, speaking to The Farmer & The Foodie’s belief that good food is meant to be shared.
The pilot episode of The Farmer and The Foodie is now available on our website! We currently filming season one, which is set to air on KET in 2018.
